Pokémon Island Tier List

What is a Tier List?
-A Tier List is a competitive organizer which categorizes Pokémon in diferrent levels, or tiers. Tiers are based upon the strength or popularity of a given Pokémon. That way, a beginner and an expert will know what the right Pokémon will be used in battle and wat will be the wrong choices.

Anyway, there are five tiers, Uber, Overused, Borderline, Underused, and Never Used. Some tournaments will be specialiazed in a given tier. For example, there might be an Uber Tournament in which ubers and all other Pokémon are allowed. On another extent, there might be a UU Tourney, in which only one Borderline, Underused, and Never Used Pokémon are allowed. However, in standard tournaments, ubers are banned and any other Pokémon are allowed.

So, here is the Tier List:

In some cases there are Pokémon in other tiers who could be great assets for upper-tier challenges. For example, an Exeggutor could do great in Ubers because it takes benefits from Groudon's Drought effect with Chlorophyll and can fire Physical and Special Hits well, while having above-average defense stats.

Some great battlers out there sometimes get the edge over their opponent by including unpopular Pokémon (like Azumarill, Torkoal, and Empoleon) into their team. By playing with these Pokémon well, you can catch your opponent off-guard and take the win!

Because there is no "official" Pokémon Tier List, this list is due to change and alter constantly due to changes in the Metagame. Keep checking the Tier List for updates because they will be edited in this post.
