Sand Stream
[SHORT DESC]
Summons a permanent Sandstorm.
[LONG DESC]
When this Pokemon is brought out, a permanent Sandstorm covers the battlefield. It can only be removed by bringing out a Pokemon with Drizzle, Drought, or Snow Warning, or by using Rain Dance, Sunny Day, or Hail.

Sand Veil
[SHORT DESC]
Evasion increases by 20% in a Sandstorm.
[LONG DESC]
When a Sandstorm is in effect, this Pokemon gets a 20% Evasion increase.


[ABILITY]
Scrappy
[SHORT DESC]
Can hit Ghost types with Normal and Fighting moves.
[LONG DESC]
This Pokemon is able to hit Ghost-type opponents with Normal and Fighting moves, at normal damage. Other resistances still apply (a Fighting type move would still be not very effective on Gengar due to its Poison typing).

This Pokemon's secondary effect chances are doubled.
[LONG DESC]
When this Pokemon uses a move that has a secondary effect, such as Thunder Paralyzing, the chance of the secondary effect happening is doubled.

Prevents switching.
[LONG DESC]

30% chance to heal status.
[LONG DESC]

Whenever this Pokemon has a stat boost or drop, it acts as if it is twice that many levels. One boost would act as two boosts, two boosts would act as four boosts, etc. The user can still only have a max of six effective boosts; no effect will be noticed from fourth or higher boosts. The same applies to stat drops. If this Pokemon is Baton Passed to, the boosts received are affected by this ability. If it uses Baton Pass, the boosts return to normal.

Prevents Sleep.
[LONG DESC]
This Pokemon cannot be put to Sleep. This Pokemon cannot use Rest. If a Pokemon is Sleeping, and then gains Vital Spirit, it is instantly cured of Sleep.

Volt Absorb ***
[SHORT DESC]
Heals 25% HP when hit by an Electric attack.
[LONG DESC]
When this Pokemon is hit by an Electric attack, it gains 25% of its max HP. Thunder Wave is also absorbed. No secondary effects associated with the Electric attack will occur.

Heals 25% HP when hit by a Water attack.
[LONG DESC]
When this Pokemon is hit by a Water attack, it gains 25% of its max HP. No secondary effects associated with the Water attack will occur.

Prevents Burn.
[LONG DESC]
This Pokemon cannot be Burned. If a Pokemon is Burned, and then gains Water Veil, it is instantly cured of its Burn.

Stops the enemy from lowering this Pokemon's stats.
[LONG DESC]
This ability blocks any reduction of the Pokemon's stats by the enemy. For instance, Pokemon with White Smoke are immune to Intimidate, but still receive the +2 Attack from Swagger. This does not prevent the -Speed from Curse, the -Attack and -Defense from Superpower, or any other stat loss caused by the user. It also does not block the effects of Heart Swap, Guard Swap, or Power Swap.

Wonder Guard ***
[SHORT DESC]
Only super effective attacks harm this Pokemon.
[LONG DESC]
This Pokemon can only be harmed by super effective attacks. Hail and Sandstorm hurt this Pokemon. Burn and Poison hurt this Pokemon. Leech Seed hurts this Pokemon. Beat Up, Bide, Doom Desire, Fire Fang, Future Sight, and Struggle hurt this Pokemon. Wonder Guard cannot be Skill Swapped or Role Played, but it can be Traced. Wonder Guard is also copied by Pokemon Transforming into the ability-bearer. Night Shade counts as a Ghost attack as far as type effectiveness and hitting through Wonder Guard is concerned, and Dragon Rage counts as a Dragon attack.
